Description: Senior Desktop Engineer
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Desktop Engineer with
comprehensive knowledge in specific technology areas. This position
involves sup****ting and helping in infrastructure solution design and their
deployment.
Position Responsibilities:
Working with Business Technology Groups and IT management to supervise and
improve the company’s server and desktop OS environments
Managing and improving the server creation process from concept to
deployment
Position Requirements:
In-depth knowledge in one or more specific technology areas such as:
Windows Server/Desktop Build Standardization/Management
Windows 2003 Active Directory
OS Imaging and Deployment
Windows Software Installs
Windows Scripting and Automation
Process Design and Do***entation
Resource/People Management
College degree required
B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics preferred
Strong technical skills, depth in a particular IT space
Knowledge in Software Distribution
Knowledge in Patch Management
Knowledge in Software Packaging
A logical and structured approach to troubleshooting and decision making
A strong facility for process design and implementation
Common sense approach to issues and areas of little knowledge; ability to
synthesize multiple sources and types of data and draw conclusions
Ability to execute tasks independently
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
