Description: C# Developer
Our client is seeking a C# developer in their Interest Rate Derivatives IT
group
Position Requirements:
Strong knowledge of C# (Winforms) -- in particular with development of
front end GUIs (vs. server-side, extracts, etc.)
At least 2 solid years of experience (3+ preferred) specifically with
developing GUI front ends using C#.
Reasonable knowledge and experience in developing C++ applications.
Knowledge and understanding of O-O development concepts.
Individual contributor on the intermediate to senior level; but, not a
manager.
The candidate must have a MINIMUN experience of 2 years in their previous
2 positions or 3 years in one of their previous 3 positions. The only
exceptions are for more junior people (e.g. only their second or third
job) and, maybe depending on cir***stances for people who were involved in
pure consulting.
Preferred Skills
Spreadsheet knowledge -- including knowledge of Excel add ins (in C++) and
invoking from VBA and C#.
Java
Development in C++ and shell script on UNIX platforms (will enable person
to have more flexibility in dealing with disparate issues -- especially
when production sup****t is called for).
SQL knowledge/knowledge of database design/development with APIs.
Knowledge and experience in implementing O-O design patterns.
Knowledge and experience with development of applications sup****ting fixed
income instruments (sup****ting fixed income/IR derivatives is even a bigger
plus).
