and Security Business Unit currently has an opening for an Economic Defense
Analyst. Job Description: The successful candidate will work as a member of
a government-contractor team performing all-source analysis in the area of
Defense Economics sup****ting the Defense Intelligence Agency at Bolling
AFB, Wa****ngton DC. Will be responsible for tracking, tracing, and
analyzing the financial assets and financial networks of targeted
individuals and groups. Primary focus will be on deciphering the
international flow of commodities and cash that sup****t individuals and
groups posing a threat to national security. Duties will include:
researching, reviewing, collating and evaluating information, drafting
analytical re****ts and studies, updating data/knowledge bases, performing
link analysis, and preparing and presenting briefings. Education: Bachelors
Degree in business, economics, international relations or a related field
and 6+ years of related experience required. Masters Degree desired.
Required Skills: APPLICANTS MUST POSSESS A CURRENT TOP SECRET/SCI CLEARANCE
BASED ON A SINGLE SCOPE BACK INVESTIGATION WITH A CLOSED AND ADJUDICATED PR
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR EMPLOYMENT. Knowledge of economic/financial
analysis and link analysis experience required. Selected candidates will
possess a proven ability to perform all-source intelligence research and
analysis either from prior military or civilian experience. Excellent
communications skills, both oral and written. A demonstrated ability to
work as a contributing team member is a must. Successful candidates will be
required to complete im****tant assignments on a short schedule, learn
quickly, and have the ability to accomplish tasks under limited
supervision. Individuals selected for these positions must possess a strong
attention to detail where the high quality and absolute reliability of
intelligence products is essential. Proficient in MS Office applications.
Desired Skills: Knowledge of international economic relation****ps,
interactions, and fundamental principles desired. Familiarity with U.S. and
international financial, business, and commercial organizations desired.
Familiarity with AMHS, SAFE or other automated message handling systems and
