Job Description Job Summary * We are looking for inside sales
representatives with experience in the Hospitality or Lodging industry.
Responsible for sales plan goals. Make outbound sales calls, activating
and reactivating accounts, verifying customer data, informing customers
and prospects with value proposition information. Make outbound sales
calls for the purpose of converting, penetrating or retaining existing or
new accounts.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities Responsible to
profitably growing sales to achieve yearly sales growth goals as a sales
consultant through the development of relation****ps with emphasis on
solutions for current core industries and emerging industries and markets.
* Identify large business op****tunities and work with sales management to
close deals. * Complete daily or weekly sales re****ts as assigned.Assist
in collecting updated information on accounts (contact names, phone #s,
etc) and database management. * Works in compliance with established
procedures and/or protocols. Identifies and resolves readily identifiable,
clearly defined problems. Demonstrates skill in data analysis, techniques
by resolving missing/incomplete information, inconsistencies/anomalies in
routine research/data.
Nature and Scope * Nature of work requires general supervision; exercises
judgment. May be paired with a mentor. Work typically involves regular
process checks or review of output by a coworker and/or supervisor. * May
provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level sup****t
personnel. * Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant
conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Work Environment * 1+ years experience in business to business sales. * No
travel required. * Must be eighteen years of age Essential Skills Minimum
Qualifications * Must pass the Background Check * Must pass the Drug Test
* Must pass pre-employment tests * Typically requires BS/BA in related
discipline. Certification may be required in some areas. Generally 0-2
years of experience in related field. OR MS/MA/MBA or law degree and
generally 0-1 year of experience in related field.
Education and Experience * Most of the time is spent sitting in a
comfortable position and there is frequent op****tunity to move about.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge in HDS product line.
