the quality and innovation of open source by combining the leading open
source operating system platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, together with
applications, management and Services Oriented Architecture solutions,
including the JBoss Enterprise Middleware Suite. Also within our offerings
are global sup****t, training and consulting services to help enterprises
take full advantage of the value of open source technology. The Red Hat
Sales Organization is seeking an experienced sales professional with at
least 5-7 years of successful middleware sales experience to direct
middleware sales activities within Federal and SLED customers in North
America. The Middleware Sales Executive will closely align with the field
sales organization and will be assigned specific account executives as
sales partners. While working with sales executives, the resource will
plan and direct all middleware sales activities, including forecasting.
Will also work closely with the Global Services group coordinate Solutions
Architect activities and will partner with Inside Sales to approach the
territory as efficiently as possible. Will work with Channel Sales to find
and recruit partners and will work with the partners to provide end-to-end
solutions to prospects and customers. Requirements Well qualified
candidates will have 7+ years of successful middleware sales experience at
companies like BEA and TIBCO.  Must have superb communication and
presentation skills and be highly effective in high level meetings with
VP-level and C-level executives. Must be able to compellingly articulate
the value proposition of open source software and a JBoss subscription. 
Must also have a strong technical background and be able to thoroughly
discuss requirements and solutions around the JBoss Enterprise Middleware
Suite and its components - Application Server, Hibernate, SEAM, jBPM,
JBoss Rules, ESB, SOA Platform, Developer Studio.
