Description: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• 4 years experience in planning, implementing, and maintaining complex
voice communications systems.
• Considerable experience sup****ting of voice communications systems and
architectures (e.g. PBX, Voice Mail, IVR, Call Management Systems, IVR,
Voice Conferencing, Video Conferencing, Call Accounting).
• Considerable experience installing and testing voice communications
hardware and software (e.g. for repairs, backups, call accounting
upgrades, & CTI application deployments).
• Experience with the Avaya 8700 / 8500 platform.
• Experience sup****ting a medium to large scale call center.
• Experience with Call Scripting using an Avaya system.
• Working knowledge of wiring systems that sup****t voice communications
systems (cat 3, cat 5, T1)
• Knowledge of Unix / Linux operating systems.
• Experience serving as a liaison between clients, IT sup****t staff and
third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems and
implement corrective measures.
• Considerable experience working with e-mail software, Microsoft Windows,
and Microsoft Office.
• Effective verbal & written communication skills with the ability to
do***ent technical solutions.
• Ability and willingness to carry a pager or cell phone and work extended
hours or modified schedule for planned or emergency work.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience with the Octel/Modular Messaging Voice Mail platform.
• Experience with CTI type applications
• Experience sup****ting voice communications environments and in-depth
knowledge of networking concepts such as VOIP, DCS, and QSIG.
• Experienced sup****ting an IVR solution.
• Experienced sup****ting a Call Management System.
• Experienced installing and sup****ting video conferencing and audio
conferencing systems.
