Description: Position Title Systems Engineer Daily Responsibilities
Plan, design, direct, and manage large UNIX configurations and
environments. Required: Years of experience (min) 6-9 Required: Degree
Associates Required: Skills -3+ years Experience planning, designing,
directing and managing large UNIX configurations and environments.
-Detailed knowledge of SUN Solaris 2.6, 2.7 and 2.8 installation,
configuration and administration. -3+ years of knowledge and experience
with configuring and monitoring network servers, routers, switches,
concentrators, modems, FDDI interfaces and peripheral equipment defined to
Sun Solaris operating environments. -Ability to install and configure third
party hardware and software to the SUN Solaris operating environments. -3+
years experience with designing, configuring and implementing monitoring
and clustering solutions that can be maintained by an operations staff.
-3+ years experience with the ability to design, configure and implement
automated backup and operational solutions for the UNIX Solaris
environments. -Solaris 7 or Solaris 8 Operating Environment System
Administrator certification. -5 years Sun Solaris Systems Engineering
