Description A Senior Compensation Consultant helps companies design and
execute performance measurement and reward strategies that reinforce
business objectives. A Senior Compensation Consultant works with
organizations to identify the financial and people factors that drive
value. To fulfill this role, a Senior Consultant will: * Develop
compensation strategies, philosophies and programs that address clients
attraction and retention needs * Build and maintain strong relation****ps
with clients, which will ideally lead to op****tunities for project
extensions, cross-selling, and referrals to new prospects . * Direct,
structure and interpret the analyses of financial and strategic
information, and provide guidance to project teams * Handle the day-to-day
interaction with clients * Contribute to the development of client
recommendation and to the writing and delivery of client presentations *
Design short-term and long-term incentive programs that reinforce the
clients strategic objectives * Design financial performance measurement
and target-setting systems to sup****t these compensation programs * *****s
current pay and program features, relative to the market and to the clients
unique situations.
Qualifications Qualifications: * BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred with
eight or more years of relevant work experience * Record of top academic
and professional achievement * Experience working with healthcare
organizations is required * Strong analytical, computer and communication
skills * Knowledge of base and incentive pay plans * Diagnostic skills,
specifically relating to performance management and reward programs *
Creative and proactive problem-solving skills * Project management skills,
specifically in a consulting environment * Ability to work independently
