Description General Summary Leads the placement and service activity for
large and complex Risk Management Property clients in collaboration with
clients, client executives, client representatives and risk analysts.
Essential Functions: Client Services and Placement Provides clients with
the highest level of insurance product line expertise with in-depth
knowledge of client insurance programs. Determines workable solutions to
complex risk situations and ensures optimal credibility with clients
through personal involvement in the overall *****sment of their program
needs. Participates in the renewal process of assigned accounts and
attends steward****p and other im****tant client meetings. Develops
innovative alternatives and solutions for difficult placements. Works very
closely with Global Placement to ensure the broking plan is acceptable to
the client and meets all their needs. Resolves potential error and
omission situations within functional area. Adheres to the Marsh
Professional Standards and Marsh Excellence protocol. Client Development
Provides product line expertise to the client development team and
participates in presentations to prospective clients. Product Development
Keeps abreast of changing market conditions and informs client executives,
carriers, brokers and/or clients of major developments affecting various
types of coverage. Identifies the need for new products and suggests
innovative solutions to brokers and/or carriers. Staff Management Is a
mentor to other Client Advisors, Client Representatives and Risk Analysts
and *****ses their capabilities and assists in their training. May also
manage a product line advisory group if office structure dictates.
Qualifications Must have strong placement experience handling large
clients internationally. Has substantial experience in the insurance
industry and is recognized as a top product line specialist. Is well known
and respected by underwriters and peers.Contributes to the firm’s
body of knowledge on product line by active participation in internal
networks. Demonstrates innovative problem solving capabilities.Revenues
serviced usually in excess of $3 - $5 million. In addition, the ideal
candidate will have a brokerage background preferably handling government
contracts, aerospace, aviation and/or Fortune 500 business.In-depth
knowledge of Marsh resources and how to access them considered a plus. Is
appropriately licensed. Is an expert user of the Internet and of
company-sanctioned e-mail, word processing and spreadsheet software. .
