OBJECTIVES/DELIVERABLES:
* Influencing public policy decisions before Congress, executive branch
agencies and/or state governments * Analyze policy and its potential
impact on Elanco and animal agriculture * Make policy recommendations *
Participate and lead trade associations and other stakeholder MINIMUM
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelors Degree * At least five years of work experience on Capitol
Hill and/or an executive branch agency ADDITIONAL SKILLS/PREFERENCES:
* A strong network in Wa****ngton * Strategic, organizational and
co-ordination skills, plus ability to work independently * Ability to
provide leader****p to key organizations including trade organizations *
Ability to lead a cross-functional team * Knowledge and /or passion for
issues affecting animal agriculture, animal health and the food chain *
Strong writing, analytical and communication skills including the ability
to translate technical information * Experience in the animal health
and/or animal agriculture field * Association and/or trade organization
work experience * Understanding of US trade issues affecting animal
