about this job: Summary: The Test &amp; Evaluation Specialist will provide
technical and programmatic sup****t for a Navy ****p acquisition program. In
accordance with Navy acquisition policy and regulation (DoD Instruction
5000.2 series) assist in the management and implementation of the Navy
Total ****p Test Program, appropriate Developmental Test and required
Operational Test and Evaluation. Specific Duties: . Sup****t Test Planning
and Execution: . Assist the Government in managing the implementation of
the Navy Total ****p Test Program for a new surface ****p class. The
first-in-class test program entails developmental testing (DT), early
operational *****sments (EOAs), operational *****sments (OAs), operational
evaluations (OPEVALs), and follow-on test and evaluations (FOT&amp;E) over
a period of 5 years. . Program Operations Sup****t: . Perform Test Do***ent
Preparation and Maintenance. Generate, update and maintain program test
do***entation including: Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP),
Certification Plan, Post Delivery Test and Trials Plan and the ****p Test
Management Plan. Perform liaison with Navy test field organizations
including NSWC, Supervisor of ****pbuilding, Conversion and Repair
(SUP****P), NSWCCD-SSES, and NSWC CSS to obtain input to the various
do***ents. Attend meetings with representatives of COMOPTEVFOR, the OPNAV
sponsor, Navy and DoD testing agencies and others as required.

Required Knowledge - Skills - and Abilities: Bachelors Degree and a
minimum of 6 years Navy ****p Acquisition and/or Test and Evaluation
experience are required. Additional Requirements: . Ability to
successfully complete the Stanley Background Investigation to include; 50
State Criminal, Education, Employment, Credit and Driving Records Checks
for continued employment. . Possession of an INTERIM SECRET security
clearance is required to begin employment; Ability to maintain a SECRET
security clearance is required for continued employment; US Citizen****p is
required. . Demonstrate experience with the Navys Total ****p Testing
Program, Developmental Testing (DT), Operational Testing and Evaluation
(OT&amp;E), and Follow-On Test and Evaluation (FOT&amp;E). . Demonstrate
experience and familiarity with the instructions, procedures and do***ents
required for the Navy and Joint Acquisition process. . Demonstrate
experience in developing Test and Evaluation Master Plans, Certification
Plans and other test plan do***ents in accordance with DoD standards. .
Possess a working knowledge of the Navy ****p acquisition process. .
Demonstrate mastery with MS-Office software. . Ability to travel up to 25%

Desired Knowledge - Skills - and Abilities: Preferred: . Have completed at
least one (1) three (3) year tour with the United States Navy or Marines
aboard a surface ****p. . Possess a Bachelors degree in an Engineering,
Computer Science, or Electronics field and 3-6 years of related
operational experience with equivalent technical training, OR, Defense
Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) (any level) certification in
Information Technology, Test and Evaluation or Systems Planning, Research,
Development and Engineering desired.
