Services Team is currently searching for Data Management Consultant.
Location/s: Wa****ngton DC Area Relocation: Yes Performance Profile: This
position is to assist the client in developing a Data Migration Strategy
for the conversion of existing product data and product structure in to
sustainment Bill-of-Materials (sBOMs) that will provide standardized and
accurate product data for current weapon systems and commodities within
the Product Data Vault. BearingPoints approach to meeting this critical
client need is to assemble a high performing team with technical
capability and product data management domain knowledge to deliver this
requested assistance in a timely, effective manner. BearingPoint will
leverage knowledge and experience in PLM, Data Management, and ogistics
functional expertise to best ensure data migration success. This specific
position focuses on the Data Management resource skill set requirements.
In general, personnel is expected to provide commercial and/or consulting
experience in day-to-day activities. Job role may require facilitating
working sessions.
Position-specific Requirements: ? Candidates must have been through one or
preferable multiple full project lifecycle implementations. ? Must have
bachelor degree (minimum) ? 2 to 4+ Years Experience in the following: -
Data Management (Data Cleansing, Migration, Conversion, Quality
*****sment, Testing, Scripting) - CMII processes Position-specific Desired
Skills: ? Industry experience in the following is preferred: - Aerospace,
DoD/Joint Agencies, Air Force, Discrete Manufacturing ? Certifications in
the following is preferred: - Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, SCOR, DCOR, CMII,
Systems Engineering/Logistics Engineering. ? General application
experience and knowledge in any of the following: - Extract, Translate,
and Load (ETL) - Oracle and Informatica are preferred tools - Relational
Databases (RDB) - Oracle is a preferred DB - Programming/Scripting - Perl
and SQL are preferred - Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) - Click is
a preferred tool - Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) - Oracle is a
preferred tool - Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) - IFS is a
preferred tool ? Functional experience in: - Supply Chain Management
(Supply/Inventory Management, Logistics/Distribution, Maintenance/Repair,
Manufacturing) - Systems Engineering/Logistics Engineering ? General
knowledge in the following is a plus: - DoDAF artifacts, BEA 3.1,
Service-Oriented Architectures [SOA], Defense Acquisition ? Having a
