a.. Systems Evolution Description (SV-8) Analysts (2 positions): Provides
technical consulting, subject matter expertise, and operational leader****p
to complete specified tasks relative to business transformation efforts in
sup****t of BMMP. Uses, monitors, and recommends updates to the BMMP
Systems
Inventory (BSI) database to maximize its value in sup****ting the Business
Enterprise Architecture (BEA) products, especially the Systems Evolution
Description (SV-8) and sup****ts the maintenance/update of other work
products within the BEA. Ensures that data needed for the BEA products
are
properly maintained in the BSI database and that all extracts used in the
products are accurate. Works independently or as a member of a project
team
responsible for providing technical guidance on business implications
related to the development, maintenance and re****ting associated with
database management. Participates in collaborative working sessions with
BEA team members and coordinates with BMSI Transition Planning Lead and
respective Domain leads to achieve BMMP project goals and cross-functional
integration. Addresses day-to-day operational issues and communications
required to meet overall project objectives and the completion of assigned
deliverables.
Minimum Requirements: Requires Bachelor's Degree (in Computer Science or
related field) or equivalent, and seven years of related experience.
Other
degrees, DOD or industry certifications, and at least eight years
experience
in a public/private sector advisory or consulting team environment.
Demonstrated ability to meet commitments in a large project environment;
proficient in process do***entation techniques; ability to utilize
analytical and problem-solving skills to identify DoD business systems,
their business capabilities, and their linkages to the Business Enterprise
Architecture. MSOffice skills to include: MS Access, Excel, word, and
Powerpoint. Desired: knowledge and understanding of DoD /federal
business
systems and processes, DoD Agencies and their business processes and DoD
Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
