Summary
Seeking a talented Sr. Solution Architect with ten year's plus experience
and
active Top Secret Clearance to work as a trusted advisor to our customers.
Responsibilities include ensuring the technical success of our clients by
leveraging full value of our product.
Qualifications
Successful candidate will:
Determine requirements for Clients by:
Gathering requirements from staff engaged early in the sales cycle
Developing and leveraging security and technical best practices
Facilitate working sessions with clients:
Meet with key staff to determine requirements via interviews
Conduct working sessions at client sites to determine requirements
Use security and technical expertise to suggest solutions
Design Solutions based on the following:
Client's business, regulatory and security requirements
Client's environment - taking into account the number and types of
security
devices and the expected data volumes from each device type
Ensure Successful Engagements/Implementations:
Provide engagement manager with information to scope the size of
engagements
Work with engagement manager on resources and scheduling for engagements
Provide information to engagement manager to develop statements of work
Work with technical sup****t and engineering to resolve issues during
engagement
As senior technical team member, direct assigned resources to ensure
design is
understood
Perform "pre-staging" when necessary prior to on site deployment
Travel on site as necessary with staff to ensure successful implementation
Develop/Continually improve methodology and processes:
Continually provide input to best practices based on experiences during
engagements
Continually contribute to knowledge base; including reusable solutions for
use
on future engagements
Provide product feedback and solutions for inclusion in future product
releases
Engagement Deliverables:
Ensure complete design and implementation do***entation
Ensure do***entation is stored in central client folders
Ensure field developed scripts and programs are returned to technical
sup****t
and engineering for future inclusion in the product
Mentor other consultants:
Develop staff and sub-contractors to be a Senior Consultant
Provide knowledge transfer of best practices and methodology
Implement Solutions:
Implement pre or post sales solutions either as a team lead or alone on
engagements or where other resources are unavailable or not specifically
skilled to meet the implementation requirements.
Senior Level Technical Skills:
Platform - Linux, Solaris, Windows
Coding skills - Regex, Scripting Languages, (Other major languages such as
C,
Assembler, Java)
Experience with re****ting design and query tools - Jre****ts preferred
Experience working with databases and data warehousing - - DBMS preferred
is
MySQL or Oracle
Hands on experience installing, using and maintaining security devices and
software - Firewalls, HIDS, NIDS, IPS, Vulnerability scanners, Anti-Virus
Operating System Hardening Processes - Linux preferred
Travel: 50-60% - Most travel should be in North America, but may be
worldwide.
