With this growing company providing advanced solutions to the 3G
Mobile arena.
This key appointment is a strategic, business oriented role which
necessitates a focused and self driven individual with excellent
interpersonal skills. You will have overall responsibility for all
aspects of the IT department including both project delivery and man
management. You will have extensive prior experience in a senior
management role encompassing both Sup****t and Development with
excellent man management and motivational skills.
You will manage a global IT department responsible for sup****t,
delivery and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, primarily
in UK, India and China, manage business applications departments to
ensure sup****t, delivery and maintenance of global business critical
applications, contribute and be responsible for a strategic IT plan
and deliver IT results in accordance with that plan, prepare and be
responsible for department budgets, liaise with senior management and
other IT customers within the business, and mentor and sup****t IT
managers and the team as a whole.
You will have 7 to 10 years relevant management experience, with
strong man management, budgetary and business skills. You must have
proven strong management skills, good Microsoft background with
experience in Exchange, Office and NT, LAN and WAN experience (VPN),
experience of implementation of ERP systems (IFS) an advantage plus,
ideally, Rational ClearCase and/or ClearQuest.
