Are you a bright Physicist (2.1 Hons minimum) with a strong knowledge
of Electron Optics and wide-ranging practical experience in the
design, build and test of systems? Can you also offer experience in
computer modelling, and the project management of small projects?
This leading manufacturer are growing the R&D team responsible for
their on-going Scanning Electron Microscope development programme.
With a solid knowledge of Electron Optics, you must also have good
exposure to one or more of the following application areas: Materials
& their properties; Vacuum systems & applications; Anti-vibration
systems; Signal Detection. You must be an outgoing team-player, who
is keen to investigate and evaluate new technologies and techniques
for future use, ensuring that work meets company procedures and
controls (ISO 9001 & 14001). You will also be involved in the usage
of analysis and modelling software & its practical applications for
implementation in relevant designs. Some periodic travel in the UK
and abroad may be required.
Any exposure to Precision Mechanics, Electronics, Vibration damping,
Image processing, Software Design and Electronics would be an
advantage.
