Title Software Engineer - consultancy
This is a rare op****tunity to join a highly successful and respected
Cambridge****re based Software Consultancy, offering you the chance to work
in a wide range of technologies and applications, including Digital TV,
Embedded, Control Software, and Telematics.
Due to the consultancy nature of the role, you would enjoy working closely
with clients, having a natural talent for understanding their
requirements,
solving their complex problems, and be able to project manage the work to
a
successful completion. This position will suit candidates with a 1st / 2.1
honours from a 'red brick' university, in Computer Science, Electronics,
Maths or a similar engineering degree, with three years plus commercial
experience using C/C++, in a variety of work, e.g. embedded and
higher-level
applications.
You will work on a great variety of applications, for example low level
embedded software, such as real-time embedded Linux, straight C code for
control software, or higher level Windows applications, for example,
controlling and displaying the status of a complex machine.
