With this leading company specialising in the development of
applications for 2G to 3G mobile comms.
You will join the Digital Silicon Group within the Silicon Business
Unit which creates leading edge IP for the cellular communications
market including GSM, GPRS, EDGE, 3G and WLAN. The role encomp*****
all aspects of front end IC design. A background in submicron IC
development is desirable, as well as knowledge of test, low power
consumption techniques and microprocessor programming.
With a 2.1 degree from a good university, in Electronic Engineering,
Computer Science or a related subject, you must have 2+ years of VHDL
RTL coding for ASIC and/or FPGA implementation, use of RTL synthesis
tools (e.g. Synopsys, Synplicity), generation of testing strategies
and test benches, and C software, and be a good problem solver, able
to work with minimum supervision, and ability to quickly grasp new
concepts and analyse complex problems.
