Are you an enthusiastic, self-motivated Senior Hardware Engineer with
a solid academic record and at least 5 years hardware development
experience across all aspects of the development life cycle - from
specification of requirements to design, development, testing,
release, production and maintenance. Have you a proven ability
to lead a development team, especially when under pressure, and a
strong customer focus?
This exciting role is to lead a team of hardware engineers, to design
and implement highly efficient hardware solutions. The role calls for
a very strong technical background, ideally including areas such as:
High speed circuit design & layout; Comm's (USB, Ethernet, Firewire
etc); RISC processor architectures; VHDL/Verilog RTL; Xilinx Virtex
II/Pro FPGA's; Protel / OrCAD EDA; JTAG Technologies.
As a `hands-on' manager, you will be responsible for the development
of new design solutions and their hardware implementations, as well as
sup****ting existing designs.
Working with a number of development teams located across the United
Kingdom and the United States, the position may involve some overseas
travel and interaction with customers. In addition to a competitive
