With this growing company developing protocols stack software for
mobile handsets.
This new appointment is to develop a real-time embedded software,
primarily using SDL design technology, but also using C. The system
forms part of layer 2 and 3 of a UMTS protocol stack for a handset,
specifically software design and implementation using SDL using the
Telelogic Tau tool suite; Integration with sub-systems and L1 modules
written in C; Testing using Tau SDL simulator, TTCN tests and
debugging target systems; Enhancing existing software as required to
meet performance and quality goals; Do***enting new and modified
software designs, specifications and interfaces; Unit and regression
testing; Tracking 3GPP standards as the UMTS protocol continues to be
enhanced, and Estimating and planning your own work.
You must have a 2.1 Hons degree in a relevant technical subject with,
ideally, 5 or more years experience in the real-time, embedded
software development environment, with solid C skills. Prior
experience with UMTS is essential and with SDL would be an advantage.
