Our client, leaders in their field, are looking for a design manager
with at least 3 years practical experience to join a group designing
application circuits based around their world-leading radio
communication ICs. This pragmatic role is based strongly on turning
'ideas into reality'. The group produces reference designs for
consumer products that are adopted by world-wide customers and
produced in their millions. A strong emphasis is made on low-cost,
low-power robust design.
The position involves operating as an electronics designer, whilst
managing the design flow of several simultaneous projects. The design
manager has responsibility for converting a specification into a
working product.
Applicants must be fully conversant with modern analogue and digital
design - including low-cost design, micropower, EMC, and audio.
Knowledge of C and assembler beneficial. Applicants must have a
proven track record of managing small design teams, and delivering
projects on time.
