I am assisting to recruit a Manager, Cheminformatics and Sup****t for a
client’s European application science group.
The successful candidate will have the following characteristics:
· At least three years of management experience
· Computational chemistry or cheminformatics background (Ph.D. preferred)
· Scientific software sup****t experience
· Ability to get things done quickly, successfully, and with the big
picture in mind
· Capable of taking on many different responsibilities with equal
proficiency
· Troubleshooting skills
· Willing to travel extensively
The manager of customer sup****t will be responsible for the following:
· Manage a group of application sup****t scientists, re****ting to the
director of sup****t
· Supervise and take part in the handling of incoming customer sup****t
requests
· Manage internal and external software development projects
· Coordination and scheduling of customer visits and training for the
group
· Liaise with the European sales team
· Pro-actively interact with customers to ensure their success with
products
Although this company is headquartered in San Diego, this position is
based in Western Europe, preferably in Germany or the UK.
