Sr. Java J2EE Developer (Job ID # 9078)
This is a full-time position with a growing financial services company.
Will work hands-on with various architecture alternatives and sup****t
business requirements on Presentation Tier, Security Tier and
Processing (middle) Tier in definition of Reference Architecture and
Solution Architecture. Will develop Proof-of-concepts, conduct hands-on
evaluation of tools and technologies. Will assume a variety of roles to
include: Java Solutions Architect, Project time and cost estimator, Sr.
Application Developer, Troubleshooter of application issues, and
Technical Team Lead. Will be working in a small team envrionment of 3
other developers.
Responsibilities: Develop an in-depth understanding of the proprietary
system's source code and data. Obtain an understanding of all related
systems and how they interface. Work with the CIO to deliver systems
assignments on-time. Direct the work of other Systems Developers in
delivering high quality web applications, with web services interfaces.
Requirements:
BS Computer Science or related experience.
6 + years of recent Sr. Java Developer/ Solutions Architect experience.
Strong, hands-on technical background.
Requires exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to
communicate systems development status and current issues to management
and within the team.
Must be well organized and able to work in a demanding, multi-tasking
environment.
Must be flexible with regard to overtime.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
Technical Skills:
Requires strong Java, J2EE development and strong SQL scripting.
Experience/understanding of MYSQL Server clustered database.
Prefer experience with Apache Tomcat, STRUTS - Open Source Presentation
Framework, Eclipse and experience with CVS release management software.
Any experience working on loan or mortgage based applications will be a
big plus.
