Our Customer is seeking a Tool Designer to join their team Our Client
is a well established company with a 32 year history of Precision
Tooling to a diverse range of industries and applications. The company
has had two expansions to its facility over the last five years to
keep pace with market demands and growth. This position is located in
South Western Ontario.
The position: As a Tool Designer you would become a key member of the
team. This is where the quality starts. Excellent user capabilities
with Mechanical Desktop and Inventor are critical to your success in
the position and contribute directly to the overall Customer
satisfaction and cor****ate success. You would responsible for
producing accurate tool designs in a timely manner to satisfy customer
requirements. You would have extensive interaction with the Tool
Makers on the shop floor as well Customers including local Client
visits as required. You would be expected to travel 10-15% of your
time. The majority of the Clients located are in South Western Ontario
and one in Mexico.
Requirements:
=84X Mechanical Technologist with a specialization in Tool Design /
Mechanical Design
=84X 2-3 years practical industry experience in a Tool Shop
=84X Proficient user of Mechanical Desktop and Inventor for design work
=84X A confident self =A1Vstarter with good organization and time
managemen=
t
skills
=84X Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
The working hours are Monday to Friday days and overtime as project
demands require.

range is $55,000 =A1V $65,000/year.
