JOB TITLE: Cost Accountant
LOCATION: Huntsville, US-AL
JOB TYPE: Direct
SALARY : $45000 - $65000

DESCRIPTION:
COST ACCOUNTANT responsible for standard cost system and Inventory
valuation.
Duties include assist with daily, weekly, monthly, and annual task. 
Assist in
preparations of financial statements and management analysis.  Development
and
maintenance of company standard cost.  Inventory valuation and preparation
of
monthly inventory reconciliation.  Monitor and research all related
operational
and production variances.  Preparation of divisional contribution
statements.
Detail significant fluctuations between periods/quarters/years.  Assist in
quarterly and year end financial audits.  Strong analytical skills and
problem
solving abilities.  Must have confident understanding of cor****ate
accounting
environment, ability to interact with co-workers and senior management.
Ability to work under deadlines.  Experience with ERP system (specifically
BaaN) preferred.  Strong computer skills (specifically Excel pivot tables
and
Vlookup functions).  Degree in Accounting required.
