JOB TITLE: Cor****ate Auditor
LOCATION: Huntsville, US-AL
JOB TYPE: Direct
SALARY : $70000 - $85000
DESCRIPTION:
$10 billion tier-one supplier of automotive and electrical-electronic
systems
and components with applications covering gasoline and diesel powertrain
systems, safety and body electronics, electric motor drives and interior
and
infotainment systems.
FUNCTION:
Travel in North America (U.S., Canada and Mexico) up to 60% of the time to
sup****t and conduct site audits and re****ting. This position re****ts to
the
Chief Audit Executive (CAE).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Acts as lead auditor as requested by the CAE; coordinates pre-audit work,
leads
engagements, balances workloads and resources, presents final
recommendations
to management and distributes final re****t.
Performs very complex audit activities, including strategic, operational,
compliance and financial audits.
Assists the CAE in developing the Enterprise Risk Management and audit
plan for
the year.
Guides the planning of engagements, investigation of internal control
weaknesses and *****sment of efficiencies of operations
Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful
resolution to
high-impact, complex, and / or cross-functional problems.
Maintains ongoing contact with senior management at the audited operating
units
and follows up after the conclusion of the audit to address all open
issues.
Coordinate audit plans and scope with other company audit groups to ensure
effective and value adding coverage.
Ensure pertinent information is gathered through interviews and analytical
inspection of do***ents, analyzes data and information through the
application
of appropriate auditing techniques.
KNOWLEDGE:
A successful candidate should have a strong understanding of auditing
principles, a control and process oriented mindset, strong analytical and
problem solving skills, strong interpersonal skills.
EDUCATION:
BS/BA in Business or Accounting.
8+ years audit or related experience (Willing to consider candidates with
less
work experience if candidate is certified or has an MBA.)
CPA or CIA
Experience with ERP systems including SAP R 3.
Thorough understanding of business processes and risks.
Prior leader****p and project management experience.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Highly energetic with the motivation and drive to be in a leader****p role.
Automotive or other manufacturing experience required.
Foreign language skills a plus.
Willing to travel 50%+.

Education:
Typically BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree. Certification
may be
required in some areas.
Knowledge and Experience:
Demonstrates and applies comprehensive knowledge of field of
specialization to
the successful completion of complex assignments. Demonstrates advanced
knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of
specialization. Demonstrates significant knowledge of organizations
business
practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those
issues. Typically 8-10 years of successful experience in related field and
successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as
presented
above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where
applicable.
