JOB TITLE: Field Applications Engineer - Analog Har
LOCATION: Huntsville, US-AL
JOB TYPE: Direct
SALARY : $100000 - $150000
DESCRIPTION:
The Field Application Engineer (FAE) will provide comprehensive technical
sup****t for customer circuit design and system development. You will be
involved with customer presentations, semiconductor product introductions,
and
technical sales training for the local sales team. You will work with
field
sales management and marketing managers to develop and execute successful
demand creation strategies for our digital and analog semiconductor
suppliers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Pre-sales technical sup****t for semiconductor components at customers.
- Matching the proper components from our suppliers with our customers
solution needs.
- Training customers and sales team on new products and solutions from our
suppliers.
- Traveling daily to customer sitesmay include overnight travel.
Quarterly travel to supplier training locations across North America. May
require up to a week of travel out of town.
- Maintaining op****tunity tracking database, updating new op****tunities,
and
keeping co-workers apprised of progress.
- Working closely with suppliers applications engineers and sales
representatives to provide the best solution to the customer.
- Being part of the local sales team.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
-BSEE or equivalent
-4 years industry design experience
-Experience in board level design using components from leading analog
suppliers.
-Proven ability and experience working across multi-function teams.
-Superior communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-MSEE or equivalent job/specialized training
-High speed analog design, video design or digital signal processing with
analog, embedded processing and programmable logic devices.
-Direct experience as an application engineer in semiconductor field sales
OR
experience working across a technical/non technical boundary.
-Proven track record of using these skills to secure new business and
penetrate
new customers.
MANDATORY EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science
