Job Description
An Internet Based Company, that's been in business since 1997, is
currently seeking a JAVA / J2EE Web Applications Developer. The
applicant will create and sup****t web applications using JAVA
technologies and sup****t some legacy perl applications
Qualifications should include BS degree in an appropriate field of
study (computer Science, Engineering, etc) or equivalent experience
coding JAVA, HTML,CSS JavaScript, and servlets.
Must be very comfortable in a Linux command line environment.
This position requires a self-starter that can work without constant
supervision. If selected the applicant will be part of a very small
team, flexible work environment and have creative control for the
projects he/she is assigned.
Additional requirements include:
Functional knowledge of Perl.
Mysql , familiar with sql and database applications.
Related JSP technologies, such as tag libraries and servlets
Mastery of HTML including complex table structures and thorough
understanding of current HTML standards.
Related technologies, including JavaScript, stylesheets/CSS, DHTML,
servlets, and XML
JAVA programming using JDK 1.4x or higher
Experience working on a high traffic consumer website
Ability to grasp new technologies and skills quickly and efficiently
High motivation and self directed with the ability to set priorities
and meet deadlines within a tight deadline, multiple project and
dynamic environment
High degree of passion about web development and technology
Excellent problem solving, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
