JOB TITLE: Linux Software Engineer
LOCATION: Huntsville, US-AL
JOB TYPE: Direct
SALARY : $60000 - $85000

DESCRIPTION:
The Linux Kernel Developer must be skilled in the development of Linux
kernel
drivers in C for telecommunications product, the development of Linux
kernel
code for embedded devices, and overall architecture design. The position
requires 3+ years experience with the design, implementation, and
owner****p of
Linux driver solutions for customer peripherals bus (PCI, PCI Express,
USB) or
embedded devices. Creation or modification of firmware in VHDL or Verilog
may
be required. A solid understanding of driver related issues including
communicating with hardware, interrupt processing, data handling, memory
management, and complex kernel debugging and troubleshooting is required.
Experience writing firmware in VHDL or Verilog, and the ability to use
hardware
diagnostic tools to analyze problems is desired. Candidates must have 3+
years
experience writing Linux kernel code, a strong background in computer
hardware
and architecture, and good communication skills. Bachelor's degree
preferred in
Computer Engineering, EE or CS.
