TECHNICIAN II

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Perform general plant activities related to the production of
Cryotech's line of acetate and propylene glycol based deicing
chemicals. Duties include receiving raw material, operation of
equipment to finished product, operation of packaging and
material handling equipment, and preparation of finished product
for ****pment. Duties also include various maintenance activities
associated with plant equipment, mobile equipment, and
facilities, with a focus on electrical and instrumentation
duties. Operates various chemical process equipment including
reactors, furnaces, boilers, heat exchangers, and computer
controllers.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school education or equivalent plus
two years experience in an industrial environment or two year
degree in relevant field of study. Must be able to read &
understand detailed instructions, drawings, & specifications.
May require unusual working conditions such as heights, weights,
high voltage or handling of chemical materials. Candidate
should have electrical and instrumentation experience in an
industrial setting.<br> <br> DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate
must be able to work in a team environment, be dependable, a
self-starter, and able to work with minimum supervision. <br>
<br> OTHER PARTICULARS: ****ft work is likely. Seasonal overtime.
Repeated lifting of packaged products could be necessary.
Year-round work in outdoor environment. Valid driver's license
required.<br>
