JOB TITLE: Quality Engineer

DESCRIPTION:
Quality Engineer
The Quality Engineer works closely with all departments and is responsible
for
the quality program and enhancing and improving the integrity of the
quality
system.
~This position is also responsible for maintaining compliance to all
ISO/TS
16949:2002 registration requirements.
Duties:
Develop policies, procedures, and work instructions that assure a high
level
of program compliance including quality processes and procedures that
produce
high quality products and services through out the company.
Works to meet goals and objectives for the Quality program that are
consistent with the direction of the company.
Using modern concepts identifies op****tunities to make significant gains
in
product quality and productivity through changes in production processes,
people processes, and manufacturing systems.
Assures compliance and conformance to all customers (OEM) quality
programs
and processes.
Helps develop purchasing supplier certification processes and monitors
compliance.
Assists in supplier certification processes, including monitoring
supplier
performance and following up on supplier quality issues.
Assists in the development of information for management by monitoring
the
results of the companys quality processes
Develops, conducts, evaluates, and communicates results of process
capability
studies and other ongoing process monitoring systems to assure continued
reduction in defect rates, rework, and other avoidable non value added
costs.
Do***ents quality programs and inspection processes.
Conducts and monitors internal audits to assure compliance to quality
programs and processes and schedules.
Participates in all continuous improvement programs by offering
suggestions
and by exhibiting initiative in areas within direct control.
MANDATORY SKILLS:
MANDATORY EDUCATION: Bachelor
