Director, Management - General, Management - Senior - Manages,
directs and coordinates staff in the performance of the following
functions in sup****t of ACTs mission, in general, and its
programs and services, in particular. Typical work related
activities include: * Lead area strategic planning activities
encompassing all aspects of the functional affairs of the
division, including new product development, client relations,
marketing strategies and management. * Participate with
President of Workforce Division in development of strategic plans
for the Workforce and Professional Services area. Implement
strategic plans within the Professional Development area. *
Participate with President of Workforce Division in creation and
development of new products and services for the Workforce and
Professional Services area. * Participate in the development of
national marketing strategies for expanding the use of ACTs
professional development services; oversee the implementation and
accomplishment of those strategies. * Identify and oversee the
introduction of new methodologies and technologies, as
appropriate and viable, to improve program and service quality
and ensure ACT remains cost competitive. * Obtain op****tunities
for new ACT business through presentations about ACTs
professional development services to potential clients, direct
contacts, professional meetings and other appropriate channels.
Doctorate degree in education or business with a good knowledge
of measurement testing and statistics or an equivalent
combination of education and experience. Must be familiar with
*****sment issues. Must have demonstrated capabilities in the
areas of consultation skills, leader****p and management skills.
Must have held positions reflecting at least 7-10 years of
progressively responsible management responsibilities, a
commitment to promoting educational op****tunity and human
development, strong writing and speaking abilities, and effective
interpersonal skills. Starting salary commensurate with
