Daven****tAirgas, Inc. is the largest U.S. distributor of
industrial, medical and specialty gases, welding, safety and
related products. Airgas North Central has an excellent
op****tunity for an Electromechanical Service Technician at our
Daven****t, IA location.The successful candidate will have a
proven track record of troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and
control related problems associated with welding equipment and
related accessories. Responsibilities are to include repair of
engine driven, inverter, and transformer type welders as well as
robotic welding systems and automated cutting equipment. A solid
understanding of welding processes is preferred and exceptional
customer service skills are required. Successful candidate must
have a two year electronics/electromechanical degree or
equivalent work experience. Candidate must be willing and desire
to work in a team environment, be driven by customer demands and
work overtime as needed. Candidate must be a self starter and
self manageable. Some travel will be required. Company provided
training included. Airgas offers a competitive compensation
