Job Functions: Service/Skilled - Drivers/Courier/Escort - Driver
IÂ Des Moines, IAAirgas, Inc., North AmericaÂ's largest
distributor of industrial, specialty and medical gases and
related equipment and safety products is seeking candidates for
our Driver I position at our Des Moines Iowa location. Working
with safety as the top priority, the Driver I is responsible for
delivering cylinders and hard goods directly to our customers,
which includes loading and unloading deliveries. Responsibilities
include organizing routes in an efficient manner; operating a
forklift; maintaining load manifests and other DOT vehicle
do***ents. Building a strong relation****p with customers is a
vital function of this position. Qualified candidates will have a
High School diploma or equivalent, Class B CDL with Hazmat or the
ability to obtain Hazmat endorsement prior to employment, and
clean driving record is required, and must be able to routinely
lift 25-50 and up to 100 lbs occasionally. A demonstrated
commitment to customer service is also a must. Knowledge of
industrial and specialist gases a plus.Airgas offers competitive
