Business Objects Lead
Our client is seeking a senior Business Objects Lead to assist in the
growth
of its BI services practice.
The client is located in Chicago and most of the practice is focused in
Chicago area clients. However, there will be travel to other clients
outside of Chicago….approximately 30%, consisting, primarily, of
short-term
assignments.
This candidate will participate in the sales process with sales team by
doing presentations, demos, and assisting in developing proposals based on
the BI group’s delivery capabilities. Additionally, the candidate will
have leader****p responsibilities in leading and managing junior team
members.
Skill requirements are:
· Minimum of 8-10 years in IT consulting (internal or external).
· Minimum 5 years in use of BI tools and methodologies
o Experience in Cognos and other BI tools.
· Strong communications skills (written and verbal)
· Comfort in working with senior level contacts internally and at
clients.
Other desired (not required) skills:
a.. ERP implementation or integration experience.
b.. Previous sales/pre-sales experience
Ideal candidate will currently reside in the greater Chicago area or
nearby,
i.e. Milwaukee, Madison, WI, Northern Indiana. Relocation is available
to
candidates outside of that area on a selective basis.
This position offers a competitive salary/benefits package. Salary is
$100-$115K. Bonus of up to 15% based on individual accomplishments, paid
quarterly. Solid medical/dental benefits.
Good upward mobility to move into management of other practices.
