FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for handling issues regarding the Summit Spectrum system and
integrated applications.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Responsible to the Spectrum environment liaison, to other
departments, projects and teams.
2. Responsible for the day to day technical aspects of the
environment
for Spectrum and related systems, including UC4, HP-UX, Branch Suite,
Pathways, and Datastore re****t archiving.
3. Responsible for technical assistance on multiple projects, with IS
managers, staff, and other departments.
4. Assist IS managers with project estimates, development
specifications, release reviews and testing, and evaluation and testing of
applications with clients and development staff.
5. Responsible to develop and maintain test scripts.
6. Responsible for handling assigned work orders.
7. Responsible for the interfaces between systems.
8. Responsible for the do***ent setup and maintenance of the host and
related systems.
9. Responsible to communicate with client departments and management.
10. Proactively approach other departments with system enhancements to
improve overall credit union operational efficiency and member experience.
11. Responsible for back office sup****t of the Help Desk.
12. Act as liaison to Summit and other outside vendors.
13. Promote honest and open communication throughout the credit union.
14. Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with the credit union’s
values, philosophies, and leader****p characteristics.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Strong back office and front office knowledge of Summit’s Spectrum
and related systems.
2. Strong customer service and technical skills with the ability to
follow-up, as needed.
3. Must be a self-starter and able to work with limited supervision.
4. Strong ability to communicate effectively internally, both written
and orally.
5. Strong ability to communicate effectively with external vendors
effectively stating the positions and expectations of the credit union.
6. Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
7. Ability to think analytically, creatively and logically.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects, objectives, and deadlines.
9. Ability to interact effectively with co-workers to accomplish
daily
tasks.
10. Ability to resolve interpersonal conflicts and miscommunications.
11. Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, database and re****t
generator
software.
12. Must be able to be bonded.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position is expected to work in a general office environment and may
have to travel for visits to other credit union facilities or for training
purposes.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Two-year degree in MIS with three or more years Summit Spectrum system
experience is required. Six years or more years related experience will
substitute for a degree.
