Highly energetic, detail oriented individual who will assist the
Project Manager with planning and monitoring all aspects of major
trans****tation or industrial projects. 5+ years experience with
Project Controls in the areas of CPM scheduling, cost estimating,
do***ent control, and progress re****ting and database
development. Duties will include change order tracking and
analysis, schedule development and or analysis, field activity
measurement, earned value and forecasting. Provides project and
company management with the necessary tools for project schedule,
cost and do***ent control. Analyzes, evaluates, forecasts, and
re****ts schedule status against an established baseline schedule.
*****ses the impact(s) of design/construction changes and
schedule slippages. Customizes project control systems to meet
specific project requirements.<br><br>Direct experience in the
evaluation, negotiation and resolution of change orders and
claims. Must be fluent with Primavera P3 or P3e/c, and have
experience in creating and analyzing cost and resource loaded
schedules. May be involved in the coordination of several
projects concurrently and work as an integral member of project
teams. Will need hands on experience with estimating
applications, relational data bases, and MS Office Suite. Must be
familiar with the procurement, installation and maintenance of
program management software solutions such as FileNet,
ProjectWise, Expedition or Prolog software.<br>

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management,
or equivalent. <br><br>Requires 5+ years planning & scheduling
experience in engineering, procurement, construction, and
construction management. <br><br>Must be willing to travel. Will
be on site in Charles city for approximately one year.
<br><br>Must have good leader****p, communication, decision
making, planning and organizing, team building, financial
awareness and a demonstrated ability to communicate and manage
effectively.<br><br>Knowledge of principles and practices of
estimating, scheduling and project controls.<br>Primavera P3,
Means Estimating, and MS Office Suite software expertise
required.<br>Excellent oral and written communication skills<br>
