Risk Consultant/Auto Finance Up to $120K + Bonus

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Responsible for performing various activities related to business
analysis and/or modeling.
Duties may include:
- performing complex analysis and/or modeling that maximizes
profits and/or asset growth and minimizes credit and/or operating
losses and other risk exposures; providing analytical sup****t on
retail credit, operating losses and other product strategies to
ensure company goals are met; - segmenting and monitoring various
credit, deposit and other product groups, vintages, concentration
limits, etc. and making recommendations to management based on
those trends; - producing performance monitoring and benchmarks
regarding growth, mix, delinquency, losses and overall
profitability and performance;
- coordinating the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual
performance re****ts for senior management; reviewing and
analyzing trends in current population distributions and
recommending strategies
May develop more complex programming models to extract data
and/or manipulate databases to provide statistical and financial
modeling.
May manage the roll-out of company-wide pilot programs developed
as a result of programmed models. Position-specific duties
include:
Implement and maintain the scorecards and models for various
lines of business in auto finance. *****s model quality and
monitor model performance by detecting the trend of population
****ft and the change of the corresponding attributes for existing
credit scorecards.
Conduct periodical model validations for numerous lines of
business in auto finance, identify op****tunities for model
improvement and present recommendations to management.
Provide analytical sup****t on existing credit scorecards for
acquisition and operational loss strategy development.
Program using SAS, SQL, relational database, and EXCEL for
extracting and mining data from multiple data warehouses for
modeling development and analytical re****ting.
Design and enhance re****ting packages and distribute analytics.
