PROJECT MANAGER/ CONTRACT/ IOWA-DES MOINES AREA
This is approximately a five month contract. We do NOT need a world
beater
with international experience. We need four years plus of current PM
experience. Must have
software development, life cycle experience. Must be detail oriented. We
need a take charge person. Active voice response and/or web experience are
a
plus but not required.
The rate is $43hr W2, and the contractor is responsible for his own
expenses. The company has furnished apartments available for $650 a month.
They are a five minute walk from the site. This is an immediate start. If

This PM will be working on various projects, including an internet
Payroll Deduct Plan project, an interactive voice response project for
the Individual Investor area, implementation of a web-based version of a
current imaging workflow system, a project introducing electronic
submission of retail mutual fund applications, and a project involving
the changing of fund naming conventions.
The selected candidate will have the following skills:
Project Management - Minimum of 4 years experience. Candidate must have
strong project management skills. Candidate will be able to apply PM
processes and scale as appropriate. Candidate will be able to manage a
project team and project issues, will be able to build and maintain a
project schedule. Candidate will need to be flexible with process
approach as well.
Communication - Candidate must have strong communication skills and must
be able to communicate verbally and in writing to different levels of
personnel throughout the organization.
Organizational - Candidate must be detail-oriented and be able to
motivate and organize teams across several different functions.
Experience with projects of the above-listed types is desirable.
