Ladies and gentlemen
This posting regards the topic: Bachelor thesis abroad
in the field of Business Computing / Management Information
Systems.
I am studying at the university of applied sciences FHTW in
Berlin (Germany) with above-average marks and I am going to
write me thesis in December within a period of 3 months.
Therefore, I'm searching for a professional partner - a company
where I can get a demanding project/subproject and professional
sup****t to write a perfect thesis and finish this project
successfully for both sides.
The speciality is, that I would like to write my thesis somewhere
abroad to gather more experience in project work in an international
environment. It is no problem for me to find a project in Germany for
writing my thesis, because since 2 years I am working professionally
in IT projects beside my studies, for example I obtained a leading
position in a team for the development of a analysis/administration
software in real estate business for one of the biggest
German banks.
But working abroad is much more interesting for me and a bigger
challenge.
For this challenge I can profit from my recent experiences abroad.
In 2004 I have been studying for one semester in Helsinki
(course of studies "ITCOM International Business") and
presently I am doing an intern****p in Cairo (Egypt) where I have
a key position in building up an Egyptian ECOMMERCE company
(www.e-sistrum.com), which includes implementation of an ERP
system with creation of a connected internet shopping ****tal,
introduction and customizing of an internal Workflow
Management System, internal desktop application development,
implementation of replication solutions for internal database
systems and more.
For this kind of challenges my ability of fast adjustment to
new tasks and requirements is very helpful.
Now to the kind of project I'm searching for:
It should be something which connects the field of IT
with the field of Business.
Examples which will be accepted by my university and which
cover the content of my studies and my previous work are:
- evaluation/comparing of programs/systems (e.g. ERP Systems,
Information Management Systems, Workflow Management Systems,..)
based on specified requirements of a business unit
- creating a concept or guideline for establishment of a
new system into a specified business environment
- planning/implementation of business re****ting solutions
- analysing/optimising of business processes with IT solutions
like ARIS
- creating a toolbox/checklist for handling of processes
(quality assurance and optimised speed)
- planning/design/implementation of interfaces between business
applications (e.g. SAP to Microsoft CRM)
- planning/design/implementation/prototyping of business tools and
applications in general
- defining specifications/requirements in the forefront of an
establishment of an IT solution
- controlling/benchmarking of IT projects
This as a small brainstorming.
I would prefer a project in the field of process optimisation or
business re****ting or IT controlling.
Just a small annotation:
The payment for this thesis work is not the most im****tant thing
for me, though it would be nice to become rewarded for good work.
But more im****tant is for me (as I said before) to work in an
professional environment within a friendly team to finish the project
successfully and in a professional way.
Despite the variety of skills and experiences I obtained up to now,
it is of course possible that in certain fields some knowledge in
the necessary depth is missing, but this is not a problem because
for such projects I always give 200% of my energy and within a
short time I learn all the necessary things without paying attention
to work hours or anything else.
That is the benefit for both parties I give my professional experience
and knowledge but I gather additional knowledge and extend my skills
as well.
I would appreciate to find some contacts this way to talk about further
steps (sending CV, personal dialogue, discussing
projects/possibilities,...).
