I am a very experienced IT professional working in the USA since 1992.
I have many years working as a consultant for a professional services
company specializing in Microsoft technologies and more recently
managing a group responsible for architecting, deploying and
sup****ting the global server infrastructure for a large financial firm.
While I have a fantastic jobs that pays very well my wife and I have
always planned on returning home Ireland to raise our kids. We travel
home once of twice a year so are fully aware of the pitfalls (lower
salary, high cost of living, property prices, taxes, etc..) however we
still want to do this within the next 4-5 years.
Does anyone know of any recruitment agencies and/or resources that
specialize in finding positions for emigrants who want to return home?
Do Irish companies entertain the idea of relocating someone back into
Ireland (it was an Irish company that relocated me to the states!).
Anyone out there who has done this or knows someone in a similar
position who has recently returned home?
Any information or insight would be greatly appreciated.
