Oracle Applications GL Consultant Dublin Contract 6 Months+
Vantage resources require a Senior Oracle Applications GL Consultant
to work in the ERP Practice (as part of a team) on both new
implementations/rollouts and enhancement/upgrade requests for
clients.
Your role will involve mapping requirements into Oracle Applications
features, identifying gaps and designing customizations and/or
business processes to resolve the gaps as well as assisting with
project planning and coordination tasks.
As an ideal candidate you will have
A professional accountancy qualification
Experience that spans many roles, for example, Financial Accountant,
Business Development Manager, Financial Analyst, Oracle Applications
Consultancy
Knowledge of Release 11i functionality
Experience in the preparation of financial re****ts, notably FSGs
Experience in the do***entation of user procedures, user acceptance
testing and provision of end user training
Demonstrated understanding of Oracle E-Business Applications, both
functionally and technically and proven ability to solve customer
issues within Service Level Agreements.
Sound business and process knowledge in all the following modules,
Oracle General Ledger, Oracle iProcurement, Oracle Purchasing, Oracle
Payables, Oracle Receivables and Oracle Fixed Assets
Excellent consulting, communication and technical writing skills
Proven experience in defining systems strategy, developing systems
requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining
sup****t procedures and implementing practical business solutions under
multiple deadlines
Your previous experience as a Functional Consultant in the
implementation of Oracle Applications in the General Ledger, Fixed
Assets and Cash Management modules will be highly regarded. You will
also have significant experience working with Chart of Accounts design
and all aspects of GL configuration.
