Vantage Resources are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator
to join a dynamic production team within their large financial
services client based in Dublin city centre.
Your role will be both technical and operations focused and will have
responsibility for providing first level sup****t on business critical
systems. You will be exposed to a large number of databases and
systems in this role.
Your key accountabilities will include
Scheduling and control of nightly processes
SQL / Sybase / and Oracle database administration
Solaris administration
Developing and do***enting operational procedures
Providing first and second level sup****t to end users
Maintenance of system backup schedules
Ideally you will have experience with site monitoring and performance
measuring tools with exposure also to some of the following
Apache web servers
Unix shell scripting
MS SQL administration
You will ideally have three years experience in a systems
administration with strong knowledge of database technologies and
batch processing environments. Your strong debugging and
troubleshooting skills will be highly regarded.
