Contract Data Analyst/Re****ting Engineer
In this role, you will develop re****ts by analyzing end user
requirements, translating those requirements in to functional specs;
designing re****ts to provide information to the business users.
This person understands E-R data models, has some scripting background,
experience with industry tools as well as a demonstrated ability to
rapidly acquire new technologies. A great attention to detail and
impeccable verbal and written communication skills are essential in
dealing with both technical and non-technical audiences.
You will be working very closely with a very dynamic team of technical
and non-technical individuals and will contribute directly to the
success of our company. Required Skills and Experience:
* RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) fundamentals *
Understanding of complex data flow between databases and organizations
* Intermediate knowledge of SQL functions and experience writing
efficient SQL statements (joins, self-joins, outer-joins) * Creation of
database objects, such as tables, indexes, triggers, sequences, stored
procedures and packages. * Unix shell, PL/SQL, Perl * Understanding of
Entity-Relation****p diagrams * HTML, XML, web publi****ng and various
file transfer methods (ftp, scp, email). * Basic UNIX proficiency *
Experience with a variety of third party database access and re****ting
tools is a plus. For instance, Crystal Re****ts, Brio, Oracle
Re****ts/Forms, Access, Excel, etc. * Extremely resourceful, analytical,
detail oriented
