Our client, a leading supply chain and engineering consulting firm
located in York, PA, is looking to hire an Industrial Engineer / Sr.
Project Engineer and a Project Manager Engineer. Relocation is
required.
1) Industrial Engineer/Senior Project Engineer needed to design
manufacturing and distribution center layouts, facility master
planning, and engineering functions including process flow analysis,
statistical data analysis and correlation, alternative layout
generation, equipment evaluation and cost analysis. Responsibilities
include executing integration and configuration of supply chain
systems and simulation analysis. You will work directly with clients
on and off site. Previous consulting experience a plus.
Experience should include:
=D7 Conducting cost analysis
=D7 Layout design and implementation
=D7 Development of standard operating procedures, time studies,
inventory analysis
=D7 Creation and application of budgetary models to assure quality and
increase productivity
2) Industrial Engineer / Project Manager needed to plan, develop,
coordinate, and direct large engineering projects or a number of small
projects with many complex features for a diverse client base which
includes a number of Fortune 500 clients. You will be expected to
assist on specific sales calls and proposals, make customer
presentations and perform other duties as assigned. You will
supervise, coordinate, and review the work of a small staff of
engineers, other professionals, and technicians and estimate personnel
needs and schedules and assign work to meet completion dates.
Previous consulting experience a plus.
Experience should include:
=D7 Distribution center and/or plant layout, design and implementation
=D7 Familiarity with a variety of material handling equipment
technologies
=D7 Experience with WMS functionality and selection is preferred.
=D7 Specification and procurement of storage and material handling
equipment
Education & Experience
Requires a BSIE, BSME or other Bachelors degree with a minimum 5 years
experience in plant/manufacturing or distribution operations. Masters
degree in Industrial Engineering a plus.
Computer Skills
Must possess strong analytical experience related to complex supply
chain resources, distribution centers and/or plant operations (a high
level of proficiency in SQL, MS Access or other database tools, MS
Office and MS Project).
Travel (up to 50%, average 30% - stateside and international).
Standard relocation package. Salary $85 to $105k is commensurate with
