Description:
The Product Sup****tability Engineers (PSE) position consists of three
key functions:
(1) provide Business Units with new product design input focused on
the customer experience with the product
(2) handle sustaining engineering problem isolation and field
notification issues
(3) monitor the health of products in the field through data and root
cause analysis.
This PSE position will be focusing on working with IOS/ITD Group and
their IOS Products.
Representation of the direct customer experience is key in all of
these functions.
This role requires a firm technical understanding, strong soft skills,
and a strong general business background.
This role requires a strong background in direct customer use of the
Cisco IOS products and their deployment.

with ability to prioritize high workload
- Understands customer's environment
and several protocols
- Basic understanding of business unit
and CA (Customer Advocacy) operations
- Results focused
- Very positive and professional
attitude
- Outstanding communication skills and
ability to influence others
- Excellent negotiation and conflict

- The ability to lead groups without
having direct authority.
- Strong business (cost/benefit)
analysis skills required.
- Experience with voice products and
technology
Desirable skills are:
- A working knowledge of statistical analysis
and root cause analysis is a plus.
