Job Function:
The right candidate will join a team of 3 to sup****t approximately
650 cor****ate users; sup****t will include working with users both over
the phone (20%) and desk side (80%) to troubleshoot hardware, software
and connectivity issues.
Experience:
3 to 5 years of related experience
A+ Certification
Knowledge of and sup****t experience with PC troubleshooting protocols
and methodologies
Knowledge of and sup****t experience with Windows 2000/XP PC operating
systems, as well as Microsoft Office 2003/2007
Experience with AS400 (Ideal)
Skills:
Excellent communication, organization and customer service
skills
Responsibilities:
Resolve network, VPN, handheld, software, and hardware issues both
over the phone and in person
Prepare detailed, accurate, and timely sup****t do***entation where
required, including trouble tickets
Troubleshoot and sup****t email problems (experience with Lotus Notes
preferable)
PC/LAN hardware and software installation and relocation activities as
required
Add, change, delete, or reset user access to business applications and
systems
Provide limited user assistance on efficient use of business
application software
Perform backup and restore operations
Repair non-working computers and printers
Troubleshoot and resolve Active Directory problems
Other PC and laptop projects as assigned
Education:
Bachelors Degree in MIS/IT or Computer Science (Preferred)
