IT Security Analyst - Network TRA, J1106-0339 Contract
TRM's Client has a need for the following tasks to be conducted.
1) Complete a TRA of the Remote Access Systems.
2) Based on the TRA, management would like to know if the current method
of
remote access provides the necessary security to allow access to
additional
systems such as the Financial or Human Resource system.
3) If the current level of security is deficient, management would like to
know what additional safeguards would need to be put in place to ensure
the
appropriate level of security for access to: Email, Network resources, and
other cor****ate systems such as the Content Management System (CMS), Human
Resource System, Financial system, etc.
Deliverables:
.. A Statement of Sensitivity (SOS)
.. An analysis of the consequences/impact of the potential threats, and an
evaluation of the likelihood of occurrence
.. The identification of proposed or existing safeguards, and an
*****sment
of their adequacy.
.. The identification of system vulnerabilities based on an analysis of
existing or proposed security measures.
.. A TRA re****t with recommendations that will guide management in its
decision on a preferred risk management option. The recommendations should
include a list of possible security solutions that can reduce or eliminate
the identified risks. Estimated costs should be included where
appropriate.
Qualifications:
.. SECRET clearance is required.
The contractor shall provide the services of highly experienced
consultant(s) with the following qualifications:
1. Thorough understanding of the field of information technology, and
related organizational and management issues;
2. Knowledge and experience relevant to the preparation of Statement of
Sensitivities (SoS) and Threat and Risk *****sment (TRA) of Information
Technology systems;
3. Knowledge and experience in the field of IT security (Government of
Canada's Government Security Policy and Standards; CSE Threat and Risk
*****sment Working Guide (ITSG-04)" and/or the RCMP Guide to Threat and
Risk
*****sment for Information Technology;
4. Solid experience and knowledge in telecommunications, computer and
network security, and remote access systems with specific expert knowledge
of the Citrix application;
5. Experience in Project Management; and
6. Strong communications skills.
