SENIOR CONSULTANT
Pricedex is a solutions company providing a highly robust suite of
products and solutions that provide an information management
infrastructure capable of managing all product, part and pricing
information, as well as providing the ability to share this information
effectively with all stakeholders both within the enterprise and
downstream through the customer chain.
Our product information management software is changing the way product,
part and pricing information is consolidated and disseminated within
organizations, impacting real bottom line returns and relation****ps with
customers, suppliers and dealers.
With cor****ate headquarters located in Brockville, Ontario, Pricedex
provides its unique technology and highly developed subject matter
expertise to an international base of clients including
Daimler-Chrysler, Rolls-Royce Aerospace, Caterpillar and others.
Pricedex has an immediate need for a bright senior consultant with a
technical background to join it on the forefront of the software
industry transforming the way manufacturers conduct business and
interact with customers and dealers.
This person will:
* Manage the implementation of Pricedex technology at customer sites
* Meet with prospective clients to determine their needs and to
match these needs to the Pricedex suite of products
* Develop estimates and write proposals to be submitted to clients
* Develop prototypes using ASP and ASP.Net
* Provide sales sup****t by participating in sales presentations and
conducting product demonstrations either at client sites or over
the web.
* Assist with difficult and sensitive customer issues
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience
* 10+ years of software development experience
* Able to quickly grasp the Pricedex technology and the customer
needs and discuss them at a conceptual level.
* Software development using C, C++, VB, MS SQL Server, and .Net
* Self motivator but at the same time a team player
* Experience with integrating to mainframe and ERP applications
* Experience and/or strong understanding of the principles of
project management
* Experience with manufacturing systems dealing with discrete
products and parts
