SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Pricedex is a growing technology company offering a highly robust suite
of Product Information Management (PIM) software to manage all product,
part and pricing information, as well as providing the ability to share
this information effectively with all stakeholders both within the
enterprise and downstream through the selling chain.
Our PIM software and industry solutions are changing the way product,
part and pricing information is managed, consolidated and disseminated
within organizations, impacting real bottom line returns and
relation****ps with customers, suppliers and dealers.
With cor****ate headquarters located in Brockville, Ontario, Pricedex
provides its unique technology and highly developed subject matter
expertise to an international base of clients including
Daimler-Chrysler, Rolls-Royce Aerospace, Caterpillar and others.
Pricedex has an immediate need for a sales representative to help
broaden its international customer base.
This person will:
* Generate leads using prospecting and other marketing techniques
* Introduce Pricedex and its value proposition to target companies
* Manage a ‘solution sale’ pre-sale process with prospects
* Participate in trade shows, industry meetings and other networking
events
* Invest in the op****tunity by putting in the proper balance of
learning, office-based work, and travel
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience
* Highly motivated problem solver
* Genuine and sincere enjoyment of sales
* Enthusiastic about ‘opening doors’ as well as ‘closing the deal’
* Can work independently, but within a team environment
* Disciplined in all aspects of the sales cycle
* Strong communication skill including proposal writing
* Demonstrated knowledge of complex software solutions
* Computer literate in Office applications and SFA tools
* 5+ years of successful software sales
* Experience selling Product Information Management systems, or
large-scale Publi****ng, SCM, CRM, or PRM solutions
Knowledge of and/or relation****ps in the North American automotive
aftermarket sector an asset
